2/4/09Jade awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Accreditation

As part of Jade's commitment to the environment we have been implementing procedures throughout the business to comply with the ISO 14001 standard. This has involved staff in all departments working with our 'Environmental Champion' Dennis Sheperd to ensure we meet and follow the criterea.

We are please to announce that after an intense two-day audit by external specialists we have been granted certification to the ISO 14001 standard.

This does not mean we sit back and rest on our laurels, as it is an ongoing process with annual audits to ensure we continue to comply and develop. Hopefully by all doing our bit we can minimise any future adverse impact our industry has for generations to come.
